A wedding morning has enough moving parts without your hair and makeup adding to them. The whole point of booking Arthouse for your day is that you arrive, you sit down, you let us look after you — and you walk out feeling absolutely yourself, just on your best day.

Holly and Gabrielle work together as a team. The trial is for both of you. The day itself runs to a timeline we plan with you in advance. There's coffee, there's a calm pace, and there's never any panic — because we've been doing this long enough to know exactly how long everything takes.

Bridal hair.

Hair extensions are available for the day if you want extra length or volume, fitted and blended in advance of the wedding morning.

Bridal makeup.

Bridal makeup that lasts the day — designed around your features, your colouring and the look you want, then applied with long-wear formulas built to survive everything from the ceremony emotions to the dance floor.

From soft and natural to defined and editorial. Gaby's eye is precision-trained, and her bridal looks are built to photograph as beautifully as they read in person.

Enquire About Your Day
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you've got a confirmed date. Saturdays in peak season (May–September) book up 6–12 months in advance, and the more notice we have, the more options you have for trial timings. Don't worry if your day's closer — get in touch and we'll check availability.
Do you travel to the venue or do we come to the salon?
Both options are available. We can travel to your venue or accommodation — travel is quoted on booking, whatever the distance. Alternatively, we can host you and the bridal party at the salon for the morning, which many brides love for the calm, controlled environment.
Can you do the whole bridal party?
Yes — bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, maid of honour, flower girls and junior bridesmaids. We coordinate timings carefully so nobody's stood around, at £45 per person for hair and £50 per person for makeup.
What if I change my mind after the trial?
That's exactly what the trial is for. We expect refinements — sometimes a tweak to where the parting sits, sometimes a different lip colour, sometimes a complete change of direction. You'll get a clear photo plan from the trial so we can replicate or adjust on the day with confidence.
Do you do hair-only or makeup-only?
Absolutely. Many brides book just hair or just makeup with us, and bring their other person in separately. There's no expectation that you book both unless it's what you want.
What about extensions for the wedding day?
Hair extensions are available for the day — most brides who want them have them fitted 1–2 weeks before the wedding so they have time to settle in and feel natural. Holly will advise on method, length and colour at consultation.
What's the booking fee and cancellation policy?
A £50 booking fee per service — one for hair, one for makeup — secures your date, and these are non-refundable. The remaining balance is due before the wedding. Full cancellation, date-change and refund terms are shared in writing when you book, so there are no surprises.
Who'll be doing the hair and makeup on the day?
Holly leads on hair and Gabrielle on makeup, and for most bookings they're the ones looking after you. For larger parties — or on the occasion one of them isn't available for your date — they're supported by other trained members of the Arthouse team. Where that applies to your day, we'll always talk it through with you at the time of booking.
